The Louisiana Motor Transport Association (LMTA), in cooperation with the American Trucking Association (ATA), recently awarded Dupré Logistics the annual Safety Award for outstanding achievement in highway safety in the 6-9 million mile class. The award was sponsored by Great West Casualty which is a trucking insurance provider.

The LMTA, founded in 1939, represents approximately 400 truck, bus and related industry companies throughout the state of Louisiana. The Association’s mission is to protect and defend the interests of the trucking industry on a state and national level. Recognized as the “voice of the trucking industry” in Louisiana, the LMTA honors outstanding carriers each year.
