Dupré Hosts 16th Annual Colloquium Featuring Inky Johnson

November 16th, Dupré Logistics, LLC hosted its Annual Colloquium featuring a presentation by former football player and motivational speaker Inky Johnson. Johnson’s presentation provided inspiration and motivation to the Dupré customers in attendance which was preceded by an opportunity for the company’s staff to spend time with their customers to share the ways in which Dupré can support their customers with their “Always Forward Thinking” philosophy.

“Our colloquium is an opportunity to show the many ways in which we partner with our customers to plan for the future in a very informed way. Inky’s presentation provided a refreshing look at what some consider challenges and how to rise above them,” said Dupré Logistics Chief Executive OfficerReggie Dupré.

Inquoris “Inky” Johnson is a former American football player and motivational speaker. Inky grew up in the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta in his grandparents’ two-bedroom home with 13 other family members. Perseverance, hard work and talent on the football field led to Inky’s recruitment to the University of Tennessee to play college football.

His football career ended in 2006 at the University of Tennessee with an injury that permanently paralyzed his right arm. This game turned a routine tackle into a life-threatening injury. Following his injury, Johnson went on to study psychology and is now a motivational speaker at schools, community centers and ceremonies throughout the United States. He wrote an autobiography titled Inky: An Amazing Story of Faith and Perseverance.
